One of our pillars is to contribute to uplifting rural and lesser fortunate communities in Asia. Our services and initiatives range from creating our own events to address a specific need or being hired by companies or foundations to help them create and run programs using sports for positive economic or social growth.
Runners Wild Bario, Malaysia (2015 to 2017)
Runners Wild was created by Specialized Sports Services as a vehicle to create new sustainable economies for rural communities. Our first initiative was a 3 year program in the mountain highlands of Bario, the the state of Sarawak in Malaysia
Barong Games Bali (2021)
We work with the organisers the Uluwatu Collective a crossfit gym in Bali, to create a marketing and commercial model to raise funds for an orphanage and a soup kitchen in Bali which is assisting those negatively impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic
Ladakh Sports Tourism (2020 to On-going)
As a continuation of the Runners Wild project, we are now working with youth associations and a foundation to create a sports tourism program in the Himalayan state of Ladakh in India
